Here are the places visited by two people who drove from locked-down Melbourne to Queensland's Sunshine Coast, which are now COVID-19 exposure sites.

A 1,700-kilometre road trip from Melbourne to Queensland's Sunshine Coast has cast a shadow of uncertainty over two states after the two travellers tested positive for COVID-19.

And while their journey appears to have broken COVID-19 border rules, Victoria Police suggested there may have beenQueensland authorities say they don't believe the couple were given an exemption to enter the state but Authorities say the pair left Melbourne on June 1, and the first exposure site listed in New South Wales is the Caltex petrol station Narrandera at Gillenbah between 10:30am and 11:00am, suggesting they left Melbourne early in the morning to make the five-and-a-half-hour drive to that point.Two exposure sites are listed in Forbes, only one of which is on June 1: the Vandenberg Hotel between 6:00pm and 10:00pm.The following morning the couple attended Brew Coffee Bar between 7:00am and 10:00am.

On Saturday, June 5, the couple's first close contact exposure in Queensland was listed: McDonald's Goondiwindi between 7:25am and 7:50am.
