NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet says it’s pleasing to see the progress that’s been made over the last couple of months, but there’s still a lot of pain and distress since the catastrophic flood events earlier this year.

“There’s a long journey ahead, and that creates many challenges for many people,” Mr Perrottet told Sky News Australia. “We need to follow those recommendations that came out yesterday to make sure the mistakes of the past are not made in the future. “We’ll do everything we can to get people … out of temporary accommodation and into homes as soon as we can.”
