And apps and other platforms that help people make money through everything from house cleaning to renting out car spaces are surging in popularity.27-year-old Amanda Palleson and her flatmates from North Sydney make $600 a month renting out their apartment's parking spaces Jules Evens, a dad from Blacktown, moves furniture on the weekends for some extra cash, earning up to $160 a job.
