Matildas pioneers, Dr Shona Bass, Vice Captain of the 1979 Matildas, and Jim Selby, first coach of the Matildas, fundamentally paved the way for the Matildas we see today. They joined RNBreakfast to reflect on the evolution.
Much of Australia has caught Matildas fever ahead of the World Cup Semi Final on Wednesday, but it's been a long journey for many of those involved in women's football.
