Police say burglars broke into St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church in Park Slope, stealing the tabernacle and beheading a statue of an angel.

The tabernacle, which is reportedly over a century old, houses the Holy Eucharist, the sacramental representation of Jesus Christ.
