Unlike other pre-workout supplements that can make you jittery, this Strength Gummy has 15 milligrams of CBD that is supposed to aid in calmness, just 60 milligrams of caffeine , B vitamins, and 10 milligrams of beetroot juice extract, which is supposed to help your red blood cells carry oxygen throughout the body better. I also like that each gummy is individually wrapped so you can throw one in your bag if you need to eat it on the go.
You take the gummy 30-45 minutes before a workout, and it provides a nice boost of energy and focus without being overwhelming or giving the tingles of traditional pre-workout drinks. I popped one before a 30-minute indoor cycling ride, and I found that it got me just amped enough to take on the workout and power me through, yet I had no problems falling asleep a few hours later.
The Strength Gummy also has a pleasant but not overwhelming taste, sort of like a berry lemonade; some pre-workout drinks taste too artificial and have a bad aftertaste. The only thing to note about these gummies is that you need 30-45 minutes before they really kick in for your workout, so I haven't taken them in the morning because I usually roll out of bed and jump right on my Spin bike.
