The door itself had a similarly mechanical vibe: a three-metre-high, stainless-steel monster, thick enough to double as anti-tank protection.Inside, it felt like a commercial kitchen in a warehouse. Beneath a high, ribbed ceiling, the first room was dominated by a stainless-steel bench with seats around it.
