They've only been in their new roles for less than one month, but Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley will be taking a break from presenting This Morning. The duo - who made their debut on the ITV show on 11 March - will be absent from screens over the Easter period as they enjoy some time off.
The main presenters of ITV's This Morning, Good Morning Britain and Lorraine all typically take time off over Easter as well during the summer months. GMB's Susanna Reid has confirmed she will be taking a break from the show over Easter. Fans of the ITV show were surprised to learn Cat and Ben were taking time off for Easter as the pair only started hosting This Morning weeks ago. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, TV viewers shared their thoughts.
Ben and Cat have quickly settled into their roles at This Morning, having taken over from former presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield - who both quit in 2023. Cat has "grown in confidence" in the weeks following her This Morning debut, but is "relying" on co-host Ben, according to body language expert Darren Stanton.
