Our legs are sore just looking at this.
It's long been regarded as one of Glasgow's toughest hills feared by students and locals alike but the Montrose Street incline looked like a walk in the park during the Cycling World Championships on Sunday.
In a video shared on the official 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships social media page, the riders can be seen breezing their way up the hill while crowds cheer them on from the sidelines.Earlier in the week, videos of riders practising on the hill, including one doing a wheelie, left Glaswegians in shock.
Another added: "Doing a wheelie up Montrose Street” will no doubt enter the local patter meaning “to succeed at something that was previously regarded as impossible.”
