Three people have been killed in a horror collision on the Warrego Highway west of Brisbane after a car and at least two trucks - including a B-double - collided on Tuesday.

The Warrego Highway remains closed near the Oakey Creek Bridge and police are asking motorists to avoid the area. “Diversions are in place while emergency services respond. Motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect significant delays,” a Queensland Police spokesperson tweeted.
