It should be noted that calls for transparency may ring hollow, especially since the White House reportedly stonewalled Congress from seeing the full complaint when it first became public. The White House released the full complaint to lawmakers right before Trump’s press conference, daysTrump said that he didn’t threaten anyone, echoing how Ukraine’s president responded to the incident earlier Wednesday.
