Jonathan Cleary has been jailed for a series of vile attacks
A Leeds thug threw a bottle of Desperados at his girlfriend and hit her so hard her head bounced off a wall.
The court heard the charge related to Cleary, of Monkswood Avenue, Seacroft, being present at the woman's home. Ms Edward's said the woman recalled an incident on December 9 where she was at home and asleep on her sofa. "On 15th November, they were discussing the restraining order. The defendant made requests for it to be removed, telling her he had changed and it was ruining his life and impacting him seeing her and their daughter. He left and returned at around 10pm.
Ms Edwards said: "He said the police were looking for him and he asked if she called the police and called her a c*** and told her to call him and 'get that f****** so-called daughter out of my name, she doesn't deserve the Cleary name.' He said if he got locked up she wouldn't be in Swarcliffe much longer and to 'watch what happens.'"
Mitigating, Molly Briggs said Cleary admitted failing to attend rehabilitation activity requirement days imposed as part of his suspended sentence and added: "He accepts through the commission of further offences he further breaches the order. He is under no illusion the court won't activate the sentence but with that being said it is the first breach and some progress has been made on that order.
