A concrete contractor allegedly went rogue at a worksite in Melbourne ’s north on Saturday when an alleged pay dispute over dodgy workmanship devolved into a wild rampage. Tradies at the site on High St at Thomastown were seen scrambling to safety behind concrete bollards on CCTV footage, as a white ute allegedly attempted to ram them.

Footage also appears to show the 39-year-old Craigieburn man allegedly wielding a golf club, and yelling death threats, before speeding down the road towards the fleeing workers, and twice smashing into his boss’ car. “Pay your f****ing money, or you die today,” the man can be heard allegedly yelling in the footage. “Let’s go c*** ... I’m still coming for you, you better hide.
