A second teen escaped serious injury following the incident in Lancashire
A 16 year-old boy has died after a 'farm bike' he was riding crashed in a field, police have revealed. A second teenager - a boy aged 17 - was a passenger, but wasn't seriously injured, said a force spokesperson as an appeal for witnesses to the tragedy was issued.
Lancashire Police said in a statement issued on Saturday night: "We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Worsthorne. Sgt Martin Wilcock, from our Road Policing Unit, said: "This collision has resulted in a teenager losing his life and my thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
