Two men have drowned in a Surfers Paradise hotel pool while reportedly trying to save relatives who had fallen into the water.
It is understood a two-year-old child slipped and fell into the pool at the Top of the Mark Holiday Apartments at about 6.45pm on Sunday.
While the mother and child were both able to return to safety, the 38-year-old man and the 65-year-old man both perished in the rescue.
