New South Wales has recorded an increase in coronavirus cases each day this week as the health department placed a further two Sydney pubs on alert following outbreaks.

Northern NSW LHD reported 21 infections, 15 from Nepean Blue Mountains LHD, 11 in Hunter New England LHD, 11 in Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD, 10 at Central Coast LHD, six from Murrumbidgee LHC, five from Western NSW LHD, four in Mid North Coast LHD and one from Southern NSW LHD.Residents have been told to isolate, get tested and avoid social settings if they experience coronavirus symptoms.
The results came from 90,223 tests. There are 24 people in intensive care with coronavirus-related illnesses, nine are on a ventilator, while 158 are hospitalised.Vaccination rates in the 13 to 15 age group is rising with 81.4 per cent having had one jab while 77.5 per cent are double dosed. NSW Health have strongly advised people to wear face masks in situations where social distancing cannot be maintained.
