"Obviously what we foretold would happen, has happened. And it’s come at a cost of people’s faith in our public transport ticketing system,'' Mr Hemsley said.The Transport Workers' Union says testing of the ticketing system wasn't thorough enough.Transport Workers Union ACT Sub-Branch Secretary Klaus Pinkas said drivers told Transport Canberra about technology problems during testing of the new system.
"There's clearly teething issues with the rollout of MyWay+ and it's only when you have 40,000 people using the new system that we have identified some of those issues,'' Mr Steel said.
