Victorians desperate to get out of the state for the Queen’s Birthday long weekend have battled big crowds at Melbourne Airport. 7NEWS
Some holidaymakers told 7NEWS it took them two hours to check in their baggage on Friday morning.
While the queues appeared to have died down from the morning rush at 9am, there was still heavy traffic getting to the airport and travellers have been advised to plan ahead.
