Trent Alexander-Arnold was forced off during Liverpool's 3-0 win over Aston Villa
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has withdrawn from England’s squad for their September matches against Ukraine and Scotland due to injury.
He said: "I don’t know exactly. I asked him, he said it’s [his] hamstring. Not too serious, is his opinion, but we obviously have to wait for the scans, and then we will know more." Alexander-Arnold underwent scans on Monday and is expected to be sidelined for around two weeks, as first reported by James Pearce. He is also a doubt for the Reds next Premier League fixture away to Wolverhampton Wanderers a week on Saturday.
