A final exam in the atrium of the Rock Hall, well, rocks!
, who raised $4,000 and brought a busload of folks from their hometown of York, Pa., had the challenging task of performing 12th. But they also brought an intense and boundless level of energy and some good punk-infused rock tunes, plus a delightfully unhinged cover of The Monkees’ “Stepping Stone” delivered by drummer Amani Weary that would have had Micky Dolenz curled up in the fetal position under the nearest table.
Throughout the evening each band did its best to keep the crowd hyped and engaged, a pretty tough job when there are 12 bands across five hours. There were plenty of classic rock show stage moves, such as repeatedly questioning how the crowd was doing between songs, calls for mid-song arm-waving and group chanting of song hooks, and a call for some phones-in-the-air side-to-side action during one of the evening’s quieter moments.

But everyone involved should be proud that every band gave their all on the stage of the Rock Hall.
