A Facebook page dedicated to exposing dangerous livestock loading ramps has gained traction among truck drivers, highlighting a serious issue in the agricultural industry. The page showcases poorly constructed ramps and truck access points on farms, often leading to dangerous situations for both drivers and animals.

Truck drivers say dangerous livestock loading set-ups are a common occurrence.A truck driver has called out bad loading ramps and truck access on farms with a Facebook page that now has more than 15,000 members. The page, which has around 15,000 members, allows people to share pictures of poor set-ups for loading livestock, mainly with ramps, but also access for large trucks.Supplied: Alex McGorman'I just got sick of going around to some farmers' places and it was just ridiculous some of the places that we are trying to get trucks in,' Mr McGorman said. 'I've lost drivers over it who won't go — it's a major issue in the trucking industry, but a lot of truckies won't say anything about it. 'We have people running us around trying to get into silly places, sheep are falling from ramps, people falling off ramps, that sort of thing.''Can you get a B double in there? Are there trees in the way?' he said. 'A lot of the time it's rubbish in the way … a lot of it is because they only use this ramp a few times a yea
