Donald Trump and Joe Biden will hold competing town halls today where undecided voters will be able to question the presidential candidates on key issues.
The pair were set to face off in a second presidential debate, but the event was cancelled after President Trump refused to participate due it being a virtual event. American television network NBC received criticism for scheduling the Republican event at the same time as Mr Biden’s, however, some outlets reported the president made the decision to run the event at the same time as his rival to compare ratings. Both events are set to begin at 11am AEDT.
