The US president has mocked Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg after she was named Time's 2019 Person of the Year. Donald Trump criticised the award on Twitter labelling it "so ridiculous". He followed by saying "Greta must work on her anger management problem, then go to a good old-fashioned movie with a friend”.
The president has previously mocked the teenager on social media and questioned the climate science she refers to in her speeches. The 16-year-old has hit back by changing her Twitter bio to say she was "a teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old-fashioned movie with a friend".
