Newly released documents have revealed the White House started freezing aid for Ukraine just 90 minutes after a phone with President Donald Trump.
The Ukraine call on July 25 is at the centre of the impeachment inquiry following claims Mr Trump pressured the Ukrainian Leader to do his political dirty work in a smear campaign against rival Joe Biden.
Agencies were reportedly informed of the hold a week before the phone call but leaked emails from Mike Duffey was the first official correspondence to block Pentagon aid. A spokeswoman from the budget office has dismissed the speculation and said it's reckless to tie the freeze to the phone call. Image: AP
