Keen to build momentum ahead of November's elections, the US President says the city of Tulsa is likely to host his first rally since March.

US President Donald Trump says he will begin staging campaign rallies again later this month, as he seeks to rebound from a drop in opinion polls ahead of November's election.

Mr Trump has been eager to get back on the road to promote his candidacy before the November 3 election after a three-month hiatus brought on by the pandemic.as voters pass judgement on his handling of the virus and, more recently, the protests that erupted over the May 25 death in Minneapolis police custody of African-American man George Floyd.

The city of Tulsa is where black residents and businesses were attacked by whites in 1921 in what is known as the Tulsa Race Massacre. The Republican National Convention, where Mr Trump will be nominated, had also been planned for the city.
