Senator Jacqui Lambie has spoken out after a whirlwind weekend of politics in Tasmania following the state election.
Senator Jacqui Lambie has confirmed she has spoken to Jeremy Rockliff as the Tasmanian Liberals begin negotiations with the crossbench in an attempt to shore up support for a minority government as election counting continues.

Picture: Chris Kidd "It comes down to trust, trust is the magic word here. We're all adults, I don't care what flag you fly under. What I want to see first and foremost is them putting Tasmania first," she said.
"I don't know whether that contract means if we get out of it, does that mean we have to pay millions of millions of dollars if we don't go through with it? I just don't know what that contract looks like," Ms Lambie said. Tasmanian Greens leader Rosalie Woodruff also spoke to Sky News Australia on Monday morning as crossbench negotiations get underway.
