Two burglary suspects arrested after one falls through roof of Grantville cellphone store [Breaking]
An apparent attempt to rob a Grantville cellphone store went awry Sunday night when one of the suspected burglars fell through the roof and was trapped inside the store, San Diego police said.
The incident happened shortly before 11:40 a.m. at a T-Mobile store in a shopping center on Mission Gorge Road at Zion Avenue, Officer Scott Lockwood said. Police on the ground arrived to find one man trapped in the store, and police in a helicopter spotted another man on the roof.Firefighters and police had to break into the business to reach the man who fell through the roof. He was injured and transported to a hospital for treatment, Lockwood said.
