Two people were hurt when a light plane crashed in Bossley Park, 36km west of Sydney CBD, on Thursday afternoon. It crashed among trees lining the corner of Terone Park oval, on Barrington St and Restwell Rd, near Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary School, about 2.30pm. The 37-year-old male pilot and 34-year-old female passenger sustained minor injuries, NSW Police said. Both were assessed at the scene by paramedics but chose not to go to hospital, NSW Ambulance said.
