Two dead after plane crash in QLD.

Queensland Police confirmed both men – the pilot, a 73-year-old man from Cooktown and his passenger, a 63-year-old man from Stuart, were pronounced dead at the scene.Emergency Services on scene at the light plane crash. Picture: Bronwyn WheatcroftWitnesses on the ground claimed the plane’s engine was making unusual noises prior to the crash, according to Inspector Goan.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau released a statement confirming the aircraft was built by the Angel Aircraft Corporation.Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or heard the aircraft prior to the crash, to contact them on 131 444.
