The men - one aged in his 50s and the other in his 70s - departed from Koorda early on Sunday morning along with 10 other aircraft as "part of a club event", police said.Cowcowing Lakes in Booralaming.
A challenger jet deployed by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority's Joint Rescue Coordination Centre was deployed to search for the Robinson 22 helicopter.READ MORE:An investigation has been opened regarding the crash. Officers encourage anyone with information about the crash, or who saw the chopper at the time leading up to the event, to call Crime Stoppers.
