A 26-year-old man has been charged.
Police responded to reports of a serious assault at the jail in Bishopbriggs on Friday, July 22, at around 4.30pm.
The pair, aged 57 and 36, were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment following the incident.Police have confirmed that a 26-year-old man has been charged and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal, the Daily Record reports. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report around 4.30pm on Friday, July 22, of a serious assault at HMP Low Moss, Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire.
"Two men, aged 57 and 36, were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. A 26-year-old man has been charged and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
