Ljubisa 'Les' Vugec, 85, was last seen at a home in Evelyn Street, Eugowra, at about 9am on Monday.
Les is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 180-185cm tall, of medium build, with grey hair and brown eyes.Dianne Smith, aged 60, last spoke to a relative on the phone about 9.30am on Monday, after she called from inside her car in Eugowra.Both are feared missing in the floods which tore through the town earlier this week.
The Wyangala Dam is still spilling thousands of gigalitres into the Lachlan River, with Forbes currently at the centre of the disaster.The river there is expected to peak at just under 11 metres, with waters currently at 10.6m and still rising. The clean-up is set to begin in Eugowra, a small community of 700 people, which saw every single home and business in town go under.
Residents told 9News that they were shocked by how quickly the "wall of water" came through, with many having only minutes to climb to safety, some onto their rooftops.
