Police are investigating a number of alleged violent attacks and two deaths in Melbourne overnight. 9News

A man has died and another is fighting for life following a stabbing in Docklands early this morning.

Police said emergency services were called to a brawl between a number of men about 3.20am today on Bourke Street, near Harbour Esplanade.When officers arrived, they found two men with stab wounds. The pair were rushed to hospital, however, one of the men died a short time later.In a separate incident, police are investigating after a man suffered life-threatening injuries during a fight in Melbourne's CBD hours earlier.

Police allege several men were involved in a physical altercation at Flinders Street Station about 1.10am.Police established a crime scene as they investigated the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack.A 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were also arrested after further investigations.Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a teenager in Coburg North overnight.

Police said the boy was assaulted with an "edged weapon" on Elizabeth Street in Coburg before 2.30am today.Investigations remain ongoing and no arrests have been made.
