A man and a woman in their 60s who were killed after a collision between two light planes have been identified as a married couple.
David Maddern was piloting the Jabiru J430 aircraft with his wife Jan a passenger when they were involved in a midair collision above Caboolture Airfield, north of Brisbane on Friday morning after 10:30am.
