Two people have been rescued from inside a tank full of chocolate at the Mars M&M factory inOfficials said the pair had fallen inside the tank on Thursday, local time, and were subsequently rescued.Watch the latest News on Channel 7 or stream for free on“One patient was transported by ground and one person was transported by helicopter,” Assistant Supervisor Nick Schoenberger of Lancaster County 911 Dispatch told CNN.
“Fire crews have eliminated pulling them straight out of a tank,” Brad Wolfe, communications supervisor for Lancaster County 911 dispatch, had told CNN earlier.The pair were taken to hospital after being rescued.It’s unclear at this stage how the people fell into the chocolate tank. A Mars Wrigley spokesperson told CNN: “We are actively managing the situation and our primary focus is supporting emergency teams on site.”
