Two people have tragically died on separate vessels overnight during the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. Picture: RolexThey were told crew members from a yacht were performing CPR to a colleague after they had also been struck by the vessel's sail boom.The second yacht is being escorted by police vessel 'Nemesis' and is expected to arrive at Batemans Bay around 7am.
It confirmed the incidents occurred on NSW vessel Flying Fish Arctos and South Australian yacht Bowline. "As these incidents are being dealt with by the Water Police and all family members are yet to be contacted, we cannot provide further details at this stage."
