In a shocking start to the year, two senior Queensland Police officers were charged in separate incidents following allegations of “serious” misconduct.

The 41-year-old male senior constable was found after a two-vehicle crash on Bladon St in Yamanto at 8.10pm on January 4. The officer was stood down from duty with the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on February 1.
