Calvin Brown, 26, and Rolaena Blunt, 18, were taken into custody after taking part in three shootings, two carjackings, a robbery and a rollover crash in the span of about three hours, according to investigators.
The first incident was reported at 5:15 p.m. when deputies responded to a shooting in Imperial Beach.
Officers didn't find any victims but located multiple shell casings, according to SDPD Officer Darius Jamsetjee.At 6:41 p.m., officers responded to a shooting reported at a smoke shop in North Park. No injuries were reported. The suspect left in a white convertible in an unknown direction, according to police.At 6:47 p.m., SDPD and the California Highway Patrol received reports of a white convertible involved in a rollover crash on northbound lanes of Interstate 805 at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in Kearny Mesa.
Shortly after the rollover crash, at 6:51 p.m., SDPD was notified about a carjacking near the Kearny Lodge Mobile Home Park.The suspects left towards the freeway. The SDPD's robbery division is handling the investigation.At 7:10 p.m., SDPD received a report of a crash and carjacking at Nolbey Street and Villa Cardiff Drive.
