Two teenagers killed when the ute they were passengers in collided with a van in regional New South Wales have been identified. Lochie Jacobs, 18, and his best friend Joey Urban, 19, were driving on the Newell Hwy at Tomingley, 54km southwest of Dubbo , when they were killed in the two car crash.

Four people dead in car crash on Newell Highway. A husband and wife, both aged 57, were in the van and were also declared dead at the scene. The ute and a van collided about 9.20pm on Friday, with NSW Police Inspector Rob Bevern confirming all four people killed were from the state’s Central West region. The 23-year-old driver of the ute was the sole survivor of the crash, escaping with suspected leg injuries.
