Volkanovski becomes the second Australian UFC champion in history following Robert Whittaker. He also becomes the first Australian-born champion, considering Whittaker was born in New Zealand. Volkanovski ends Holloway's 30-month reign as featherweight champion and also brings the Hawaiian's 13-fight winning streak in the division to a halt!
