A woman has been sexually assaulted outside a pub early on Christmas morning in a Victorian coastal town.
The victim, 24, left the Gordon Hotel in Portland for the venue's rear car park where she lost consciousness after 2am on December 25, Victoria Police said. The woman called emergency services after regaining consciousness and realising she had been assaulted. Sexual crime squad detectives are appealing for anyone who saw the woman or anything suspicious around Bentinck Street, Gore Place or the nearby car park to call police.
