Former foreign minister Alexander Downer says Americans were “completely right” to throw all of their weight behind the Israelis following the October 7 massacre of Israelis by Hamas.

Mr Downer praised President Biden’s “forthright and constructive” decisions following the massacre of Israelis in early October. “Behaviour like that is intolerable, and the Americans have made it perfectly clear they support the Israelis’ efforts to destroy Hamas,” Mr Downer told Sky News Australia.
