‘War’ erupts in Victorian Liberal Party over Moira Deeming expulsionA war has erupted in the Victorian Liberal Party over the expulsion of Moira Deeming after she helped plan a protest advocating for women’s rights, says Sky News host Sharri Markson. “The protest was advocating for the reinstatement of biological sex-based rights and it was protesting transitioning practices used on gender non-conforming and gay minors,” Ms Markson said. “A controversial rally, absolutely, but nothing that you’d think would warrant Deeming being thrown out of the Liberal Party – just for standing up for women's rights.' Ms Markson said around 30 neo-Nazis turned up to the protest and there were Nazi salutes and other propaganda, but Ms Deeming claims she at no point endorsed the neo-Nazis. “Victorian Liberal leader John Pesutto has today released a 15-page letter defending his decision to dump Deeming from the party.”
