Trump will win US election with 270-280 seats: Data analyst | Sky News AustraliaData Analyst Professor Bela Stantic says based on rigorous data analysis of millions of social media posts, he believes US President Donald Trump will win the US election, despite national polls suggesting Joe Biden will become president.\n\n'On September 18, I collected over four million tweets with 20 million likes and I did analysis and based on that analysis I concluded Trump is ahead and he will win with 270-280 seats.\n\n'Trump has 161 seats which are very firm and 19 which is sure, which brings him to 180. He, according to my analysis - which was on September 20 - he was just ahead in Florida, Iowa, North Carolina and Ohio, which gives him 68 seats.\n\n'He was likely to win Georgia, which took him to 264 and Pennsylvania, Arizona and Minnesota were a coin toss, so basically, on probability, it's likely he will win one of these three seats and that will take him to 270-280 seats.'\n\nMr Stantic said he would do a deeper analysis the week before the US election, having only performed a brief draft analysis, especially since President Trump became infected with COVID-19.\n\n'I did collect tweets from Florida a couple of days ago and saw he [Trump] was ahead than he was in September,' he said.\n\n'Usually, patterns hold across other seats and states so that means he probably even stronger than he was in September; I didn't see the situation with coronavirus influencing the outcome.'\n\nMr Stantic revealed he had correctly predicted every single seat during the 2019 Federal Election that saw Scott Morrison become Prime Minister.\n\n'I know nothing about politics... I basically analyse publicly available social media data and make my predictions,' he said.
