The US Senate has voted to acquit President Donald Trump of impeachment charges brought against him by the House Democrats.
Senators have found him not guilty of the first charge abuse of power, 52-48, with all Democrats and Republican Mitt Romney supporting conviction. He's the first senator in US history to vote to convict a president from the same party in an impeachment trial.The senators voted from their desks when their names were called, saying either "guilty" or "not guilty."
