A driver on a Queensland highway says he got the fright of his life when a brown snake appeared in the footwell of his ute and began wrapping itself around his legs and trying to bite him.
Officers spotted the ute doing 123 kilometres an hour and pulled the man over.The drama was captured on the officer's body camera.
University of Queensland snake expert Associate Professor Bryan Fry said Jimmy had "good reason to freak out".He said the best thing to do was remain calm and call for help rather than run around.
