Senate candidate Drew Pavlou says his party – the Democratic Alliance – is “very proud” to lead the way in politics with the first Uyghur candidates to run in an election.
Mr Pavlou, who is well-known for his criticism of the Chinese Communist Party, also revealed another candidate from Hong Kong – now an Australian citizen – will be running with his party in the next election.
