Tributes are flowing for a beloved grandmother and vaccine scientist who was killed during a freak storm that lashed Sydney.
“There appears to have been a mini tornado, centred on the northern beaches,” local MP Jason Falinkski said on social media.Crews were called to a carpark on Ocean Street in Narrabeen after reports of a tree coming down on Sunday afternoon.Two others were critically injured and were transported to Royal North Shore Hospital.
