‘Very unlucky’: fatal boat crash mystifies investigators
Investigations are continuing into the cause of a boat crash that killed a man in waters off North Stradbroke Island on Friday and left another seriously injured.
Both men suffered serious injuries in the crash, with onlookers managing to get them to a nearby sandbar. The driver, a 52-year-old Edens Landing man, was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with facial injuries.
