The state's death toll is now 683.Victoria recorded its lowest daily total since June 26On this day last month, Victoria recorded nearly 400 new infections after reaching its peak of 687 cases just four days earlier.
Premier Daniel Andrews had praised Victorians for their efforts in bringing infection numbers down, saying the state was on track to defeating the virus.
